Hyundai's popular three-row crossover, the Palisade, is set to arrive in dealerships later this month with a refreshed design and updated pricing for its 2026 model year. The base front-wheel-drive Palisade SE will now be priced at $40,430, reflecting an increase of $1,735 compared to its 2025 predecessor. This price adjustment encompasses a comprehensive redesign, featuring a longer body, enhanced aesthetic appeal, and a completely revamped interior, promising a more premium feel for occupants. The top-tier Calligraphy trim will see its price rise to $55,555 for the V-6 variant and $57,775 for the newly introduced hybrid model, making the Palisade lineup more expensive but also more sophisticated. Additionally, the HTRAC all-wheel-drive system remains an option across all trims, available for an extra $2,000.
The 2026 Palisade lineup introduces significant changes beyond just pricing. The previous XRT trim is phased out, replaced by a new SEL Convenience trim. Notably, Hyundai is launching the Palisade with a new XRT Pro trim, exclusively available with all-wheel drive, designed for improved off-road capabilities. This trim boasts enhanced off-road angles, a unique limited-slip differential, and an additional inch of ground clearance. While the standard 3.5-liter V-6 engine will see a slight reduction in power output to 287 horsepower and 282 pound-feet of torque, the highlight is the new hybrid powertrain. This innovative system combines a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, delivering a robust 329 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid variant, starting with the SEL at $45,155, also offers SEL Premium and Limited trims, all available with AWD for an additional cost, with the hybrid models expected to reach showrooms later this year.
This strategic update to the Hyundai Palisade demonstrates the brand's commitment to evolving its product offerings in response to market demands for both enhanced luxury and increased fuel efficiency. By introducing a hybrid option and refining the vehicle's design and features, Hyundai aims to solidify the Palisade's position in the competitive SUV market. These changes not only signify an investment in technological advancement but also reflect a proactive approach to meeting diverse consumer preferences, from family-oriented comfort to adventurous off-road capabilities. The new Palisade encapsulates a forward-thinking vision, setting a new standard for performance, versatility, and environmental consciousness in its segment, inspiring confidence and enthusiasm among automotive enthusiasts and potential buyers alike.
