In a charming corner of Apopka, at 15 East 5th Street, lies the newly transformed Hall’s On 5th. This innovative project occupies what was once Hall’s Feed Store, a staple business in the community since 1928. Co-owner Ella Duke, who relocated from Downtown Orlando, envisioned transforming this iconic site into a bustling food hall. Her vision included preserving key elements of the original structure, such as the flooring and the nostalgic exterior sign, while introducing modern dining options.

Since opening last month, Hall’s On 5th has become a hub for culinary exploration. For chefs like Mario Penaherrera of Butcher’s Nook, this venture represents their first opportunity to showcase their talents on a larger stage. The food hall operates six days a week, drawing patrons to explore the variety of cuisines available. Mayor Bryan Nelson fondly recalls his childhood visits to the former feed store, emphasizing its significance in Apopka's history. Today, the interior features historical photographs and furniture sourced from the Hall family, alongside creative planters crafted from the hay room’s wooden floors. Visitors can enjoy meals amidst these thoughtful nods to the past.

Hall’s On 5th welcomes guests Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
